URBAN CONCEPT IN GDAŃSK WRZESZCZ
The project turned out to be interesting and, in my opinion, fits perfectly into the surrounding buildings, while giving some variety and adding accents.
The topic of the project this semester was not only the development of the concept, but also the design of engineering and roads.
The planned area is located in one of my favorite districts of Gdansk. The proximity of the sea and the business center of the city directly affected its shape: from the north of the district, the number of floors is lower than in the south. The historical shape of the street, which borders the district from the north, was also preserved. The area is saturated with a variety of public spaces: on the west side we are met by a square intended for trade and small business zones, which is located on the first floors.

The main idea is to create a mixed housing estate, which will be a safe home for different social groups. The estate will consist of multi-family buildings and a variety of green public and semi-public spaces.
The settlement will be divided into two parts, in the larger of the two parts there will be apartments for permanent tenants. The second part will be developed for seasonal tenants, i.e. tourists and students. Thanks to this, permanent residents of the settlement will be able to establish long-term neighborly relations and integrate. In the heart of the estate there will be a hotel with a square on which there will be a pond with a fountain and a space for residents. The main distinguishing feature will be the residential park, which at the entrance to it from the side of Haller Street will be a vantage point to the Polsat Plus Arena Gdańsk, and will be equipped with a large playground and various sports and recreation areas.
